Scope of Certification
Mouldsurv Ltd operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (QMS) covering the provision of the following services and activities:
Mould Inspections
Comprehensive inspection of premises to locate and assess the presence, type, and extent of mould growth using thermal imaging and moisture detection equipment.
Damp Surveys
Professional damp surveys to identify sources of moisture including rising damp, penetrating damp, and condensation, with HHSRS-compliant risk assessments.
Indoor Air Quality Testing
Advanced air quality assessments measuring mould spore levels, humidity, VOCs, and other contaminants affecting indoor environmental quality.
Mould Remediation Services
Safe and effective mould removal following industry best practices, including containment, HEPA filtration, anti-microbial treatment, and post-remediation verification.
Mould Prevention & Management Plans
Development and maintenance of comprehensive mould management plans for property managers and landlords to meet UK housing legislation requirements.
Consultancy & Advisory Services
Expert guidance on mould and damp risk management, regulatory compliance, remediation strategies, and preventive measures for residential and commercial properties.

Regulatory Framework
The QMS is designed to ensure compliance with:
- Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
- Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
Exclusions
The QMS scope covers survey, assessment, consultancy, and our own remediation services. Where specialist structural repair work is required (such as major damp-proofing installations or building alterations), these works may be carried out by appropriately qualified third-party contractors under separate arrangements.
Our ISO 9001:2015 certification is maintained through regular external audits by an accredited certification body. Certification details are available upon request.
